Tough day for Power
AFTER a round one win over South Rovers, Kolora Noorat went down by 66 points to Allansford last weekend.

Round two of the Warrnambool District League proved a tough one for the Power, who travelled to Allansford to take on the Cats.
Held scoreless in the second quarter after kicking 1.1 in the first, the Power went into the main break 38 points down.
Despite an improved second half, which saw them add four majors to the board, Power ended their day on 5.5.35 while the home side booted 14.17.101.
Best players for the Power were Caleb Kavanagh, Louis Cahill, Ethan Wyss, Mitchell Wyss, Oscar Curran and Jack Vaughan.
Louis Cahill, Nick Castersen, Jordi Dwyer, Charlie Scanlon and Justin Wallace kicked a goal apiece.
The reserves also suffered a round two loss, going down 2.4.16 to 21.12.138.
Best for the side were Sam Hutchinson, Riley Scanlon, Isaiah Bird and Fraser Guthrie.
Kolora Noorat’s netballers also had a tough day on the courts, winning just one of the six games played.
Results were as follows:
A grade – Kolora Noorat lost to Allansford 28-48.
A reserve – Kolora Noorat lost to Allansford 24-41.
B grade – Kolora Noorat lost to Allansford 11-48.
17 and under – Kolora Noorat defeated Allansford 27-19.
15 and under – Kolora Noorat lost to Allansford 17-25.
13 and under – Kolora Noorat lost to Allansford 7-28.
This weekend’s round three games will see the Power at home to Old Collegians.
In other Warrnambool District League matches on Saturday, Merrivale will host South Rovers, Dennington will host Allansford, Panmure will travel to Timboon to take on the Demons, and Nirranda and Russells Creek will meet at Deakin University.
