Tracks strikes a chord
TRACKS music festival took off in Timboon on Saturday, March 14, with local artists hitting the stage and livening the atmosphere for a great day out.

Timboon Entertainment, Art and Music Inc (TEAM Inc) committee secretary Heather Martin said the weather was perfect and the event drew a great crowd.
“The sunshine turned it on for the Tracks Music Festival on Saturday, with the beautiful natural amphitheatre providing the perfect backdrop for a fantastic day of live music, food and community connection,” she said.
“This year’s theme, “Aussie Homegrown,” celebrated local talent, and the bands certainly delivered.
“Level Up, The Brewers Band, Run Bella Run and Stage Fright each lifted the energy another notch, proving once again that the festival just keeps getting bigger and better every year.
“The atmosphere was buzzing as locals turned out in their hundreds to enjoy the music, catch up with friends and soak up the relaxed outdoor setting.
“Families spread out on the grass while kids enjoyed games and activities, creating a warm, welcoming vibe which truly reflected the spirit of the community.”
Ms Martin said it was thanks to the support of the community which made the festival possible.
“Festival organisers TEAM Inc were thrilled with the turnout and the incredible support from the community,” she said.
“A special thanks also goes to returning sound engineer Warren Heath, whose expertise helped ensure the music sounded amazing all day.
“Guests were also treated to a great range of delicious food and drinks, adding to the festive feel of the day.
“TEAM Inc would like to thank all sponsors for their support, especially Timboon Opportunity Shop, Timboon Pharmacy, The Midfield Group, Corangamite Shire, KP Design, Apostle Signage Solutions, AllEvents Ceremonies and Celebrations, Fuss Free Catering and End of the Line Brewing.”
