Truck driver dies in Woorndoo crash
VICTORIA Police are investigating a fatal truck crash which occurred in Woorndoo last week.
The incident occurred last Friday morning on Friday, January 30.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to reports a truck had crashed into a tree.
The incident was alleged to have occurred near the intersection of Woorndoo-Chatsworth Road and Woodcutters Lane, which emergency services attended at about 10.15am.
The truck driver, who has not yet been formally identified, died at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances which surround the crash are currently ongoing.
Victoria Police have called for anyone who witnessed the incident, has vision or any information to contact police.

At the time of publication, 22 lives have been lost on Victorian roads to-date in 2026.
The figure is down on the 38 lives lost on roads over the same period in 2025.
