Truck hits cow in Timboon
AN ALTERCATION with a cow caused an accident in Timboon last Friday.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said police were called to Boundary Road in Timboon West at around 7.10am last Friday morning after reports a truck had hit a cow.
“Fortunately, the driver was not seriously injured and was taken to hospital as a precaution,” the spokesperson said.
“The road was closed while the scene was rehabilitated.”
Ambulance Victoria was called to the incident and Advanced Life Support (ALS) paramedics attended the scene.
“One person was transported by road ambulance to Timboon and District Healthcare Service in a stable condition,” an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
