“His role includes leadership across visitor services, food and beverage operations, tourism experience delivery, stakeholder engagement, team development, and operational planning for the precinct.”

Mr Smaniotto said he was excited to be part of a project which will showcase the Great Ocean Road region to visitors from around the world while creating long-term benefits for local communities and tourism operators.

“The Twelve Apostles is one of Australia’s most recognised natural destinations, and it is a privilege to help shape the future visitor experience for this remarkable region,” he said.

“This project represents an incredible opportunity to create a sustainable, world-class destination experience that celebrates the landscape, culture, community, and tourism offering of the Great Ocean Road.”
