Twilight competition on the horizon
ANGLERS of all ages and abilities are welcome to enter the Lake Purrumbete Angling Club’s twilight competition.
Angling can be enjoyed by enthusiasts of all ages.
The competition is open to both members and the general public and will run each Friday throughout January from 5pm until 8.30pm.
Registrations open at 4.30pm at the clubrooms and are just $5 per person.
Mystery prizes are on offer, along with prizes for redfin or salmonoid (trout or chinook).
A free sausage sizzle is also available from 8.30pm, along with drinks and icypoles.
Fishing is done from the bank, off any of the public jetties around the park or from a boat or kayak.
