CORANGAMITE Shire residents learnt some valuable information about stroke prevention aged and home care packages recently.
University of the Third Age (U3A) Corangamite spokesperson Gary Kimber said the session was “important and informative” for those in attendance.
“Two speakers dealt with strokes and aged and home care packages,” he said.
“Dianne Speed gave a very personal and heartfelt talk about all aspects of stroke prevention and treatment, and told about her stroke experience.
“Lesa Best from the Corangamite Shire outlined the process of applying for home care and aged care packages and both ladies fielded many questions.
“A great session and U3A is very fortunate to have been able to run this session and sincerely thanks Diane and Lesa.”
