Van Diemen wins at Mortlake

RICHARD Van Diemen has continued his good form on the greens to take out last Saturday’s stableford at the Mortlake Golf Club.

Van Diemen (18) finished on 34 points to win the event on countback from runner-up Hamish Weatherly (4) 34.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Hamish Weatherly, 6/15 Aaron Davies and 9/12 Ashley Macklin.

Balls down the line went to Garry Shalders, Gary Glossop and James Gill.

New members included James Gill and Sam Gervasoni.

This week’s event will be RSL Day stableford – shotgun start with an assembly at 12noon and start from 12.30pm.
