Venn wins at Terang golf

LIAM Venn finished on 39 to take out the stableford event at Terang Golf Club last Saturday.

Venn was closely followed by runner-up Shaun Maxfield on 36.

Down the line: Tim Keane (11) 36, Trevor Beasley (8) 36, Ian Thorby (5) 36, Stephen Arundell (7) 35 and Geoff Campbell (28) 35.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Michael Sargeant, 6th Chris Coolahn, 8th Phil Beasley and 11th Paul healey.

Sunday’s stableford saw Matthew Drayton win on 35 on countback from runner-up Daniel Beard (4) 35.

This Saturday and Sunday will be stableford both days.
