Veterans enjoy Camperdown course
A LARGE group of veteran golfers enjoyed a round at the Camperdown course last week.
Forty-seven players rolled in to Camperdown on Tuesday (February 24) for a stroke competition.
Results from last week’s competition:
A grade – winner Keith Baker (Camperdown) on 70 points, runner-up Peter Devine (Colac) 73 on a countback from third Jeff Costin (Colac) 73.
NAGA was Peter Tancred (Colac).
B grade – winner Neil Tribe (Peterborough) 69, runner-up Peter Gubbins (Camperdown) 72, third Mark McKenzie (Timboon) 71.
NAGA was Tara Stewart (Winchelsea).
C grade – winner Brian Smith (Cobden) 67 on a countback from runner-up Peter Collhole (Birregurra) 67, third Bernie Kenna (Terang) 71.
NAGA Kerry Clarke (Terang).
Nearest the pins: 2nd, Peter Devine; 9th golden hole, Darryl Neal; 15th, Kevin Plozza; 17th, Tony Nichols.
The next event will be held in Terang On Tuesday, March 10, 4BBB and AGM to follow.
