CORANGAMITE Hockey Club saw mixed results for its under 15 teams in the Warrnambool District Hockey Association competition on Friday night.
The Lakers dominated their match against Warrnambool team Mariners, winning 3-1 with goals going to Oliver, Patrick and Sigmund, while Corangamite Blue lost 0-3 to Technique despite a solid performance overall.
Saturday was a perfect day for hockey, and the modified comp and Hooked into Hockey players took full advantage.
In the modified competition the Kookaburras defeated the Hockeyroos 4-2, with Hudson R scoring twice for the victors along with fellow teammates Charlotte B and Megan J.
Mali M and Mateo B each scored for the Hockeyroos, while the umpires nominated Noah B, Mali M, Mateo B, Harrison A, Tobias I and Millie B as best players.
In the second modified comp match the Jillaroos defeated the Burras 6-0, with goals from Grace H, Oliver R-R and Maisie C, who scored four.
Best players were Jess M, Cooper M, Jamieson A, Maisie C, Maya S and Bailey C.
