Walking safely to school
CAMPERDOWN College junior campus students celebrated Walk Safely to School Day recently.

Camperdown Police’s Sam Alexander helps explain the importance of road safety at Camperdown College’s Walk Safely to School Day.
Junior campus principal Jacinta Tolland said the morning included a walk-a-thon on school grounds.
“Combined with our Mother’s Day Breakfast, students enjoyed walking and talking with their families and peers, promoting the message of keeping fit and always holding a hand with an adult if under the age of 10 and crossing a road,” she said.
“Officers from Camperdown Police joined us for the morning strengthening this important safety message.
“We thank Natalie and Sam from Camperdown Police for joining us.”
