Wareham continues to shine in India

MORTLAKE’S Georgia Wareham is continuing to shine on the international stage, enjoying a great start to the WPL 2025 season in India.

As of yesterday (Wednesday) morning, Wareham was placed in the top three bowlers, having taken seven wickets from four matches, at an average of 19.42.

Wareham is currently playing for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) side in the TATA Women’s Premier League competition.

The season, which started on February 14, will run through until March 11, with an elimination final scheduled for March 13 and a grand final in Mumbai on March 15.

RCB currently sits second on the WPL ladder with two wins and two losses.

They will face the Gujarat Giants today (Thursday), before matches against the Delhi Capitals (Saturday), the UP Warriorz on March 8 before rounding out their fixture against the Mumbai Indians on March 11.

The games are played across four venues – in Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Mumbai.
