Water burst in Cobden

Wannon Water responded to a burst water main in Lord Street, Cobden on Sunday night.

“The incident, which was reported around 7pm, caused temporary supply interruptions for a number of customers,” a Wannon Water spokesperson said.

“Our crews worked to shut down the main and repair the pipe by 10pm.

“They then flushed the network to remove any residual sediment in the pipes.

“The water remains safe to use and drink.”
