Waterboys win Corporate Shield
THE Waterboys have taken out the recent Corporate Challenge competition at the Camperdown Bowling Club.

Week four last Monday saw Waterboys finish on 28 points +9 to take the win ahead of runner-up Shire 1 on 28 points +7.
The corporate challenge, held over the past four Monday nights, involved more than 1000 players representing 26 local businesses.
Congratulations also to raffle winners last Monday night, Terri Sinnott and Judy Borthwick.
The overall progressive aggregate and winners of the Celia and Ken King Shield was the Waterboys on 107 points, followed by Gary Fryer’s team a close second on 104.
The Camperdown Bowling Club thanks all businesses in the town, sponsors and members who volunteered their time to make this competition a success.
In club news, Camperdown’s midweek and over 60s social pennant competed in grand finals on Tuesday.
Midweek division three travelled to Colac to play against Colac City.
Both teams had met four times during the season, with two wins each.
In a closely contested game, where the lead went both ways during the day, Colac City came out the winners by five shots, taking home the shield 55-50.
Over 60 social pennant travelled to Mortlake and played the home side.
In a hard-fought battle, Mortlake came out on top with the win.
Congratulations to both teams for making the grand finals.
