Weatherly wins at Mortlake

HAMISH Weatherly (4) 38 points took out the stableford event at Mortlake Golf Club last Saturday.

The runner-up was Ben Boers (10) on 36 points

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Dougal Ranken, 6/15Les Dawson and 9/18Tony Richardson.

Balls down the line: Tony Richardson, Tony McLennan, Dougal Ranken, Les Dawson, Peter Palmer and Glen Byers.

Eagles nest (14 balls) was won by Slade Palmer on the 14th hole.

Last Friday’s nine-hole twilight was won by Tony McLennan with 18-51-33, with the runner-up Ian Jubb 16-50-34.

Nearest the pin on the 9th was Ian Jubb.

Next week’s event will be stroke monthly medal.
