Welcome preps
SCHOOLS across the region have welcomed the next generation of little learners.
Prep/Foundation students took their first nervous steps into primary education last week after schools returned for the new year.
Cobden Primary School welcomed 13 preps into their classrooms last week, who are enjoying the opportunity to connect with those around them.
Prep teachers Kerryn Guthrie and Rebecca Moloney said the Cobden Primary School preps had enjoyed their first days.
“Preps have had a wonderful start,” they said.
“They’re enjoying school at the moment and started off great.”
Hampden P-12 junior campus welcomed two prep students who were all smiles making the most of their first few days with exciting activities.
Simpson Primary School welcomed nine prep students.
