Win for Hillman

AN excellent round from Jenny Hillman (20) saw her win Wednesday’s stableford event at the Camperdown golf club.

Maree Finlay (29) was runner-up with 39 points – she also won the nine-hole competition with 20 points on the bottom course.

Nearest the pins: 9th Jenny Hillman, 15th Donna Conheady, 17th Maree Finlay.

Balls down the line went to Deb Narik, Donna Conheady, David Absolom and Chris Farmer.

Next Wednesday and Saturday will be stroke rounds for the women’s April monthly medal and the qualifying rounds for the Alice Williams knockout singles competition.

Unfortunately the club’s division one pennant side lost its first round encounter against Terang at home 5/0.

The competition will resume after Easter.
