Win for Newton

THIRTEEN players contested the fourth round of the monthly medal at the Timboon Golf Club last week.

Wednesday’s competition, a stroke event, also saw recorded putts used.

The winner of both competitions was Lynne Newton with 84 strokes and a nett score of 69 (having 25 putts).

The runner-up was Alison Walsh with a 98, nett 71.

Nearest the pins: 7th (first shot) Suzanne Wallace, 14th (second shot) Nellie Cashmore, Nutrien ball Judith Wallace.
