Win for Wareham

PAUL Wareham finished on 39 points to take out last Saturday’s stableford event at the Mortlake golf course.

Runner-up for the day was Kevin Eetherton (11) 35 points on countback.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 and 6/15 Kevin Etherton, 9/18 Peter Palmer.

Balls down the line went to Peter Palmer, Scott Palmer and Richard van Diemen.

Last Friday was a nine-hole twilight competition.

The winner was Jake Last 14-44-30, runner-up Bruce Twaddle 15-46-31 and third Andrew Hunger 12-44-32.

Nearest the pin on the 9th was Merv Hampson.

Next week’s event is a two-person multi event – holes 1-6 ambrose, holes 7-12 foursomes, 13-18 will be 4BBB.
