Winners named for the 2026 Mortlake Art Show
THE results are in for this year’s record-setting Mortlake Art Show.

Best in Show Award was given to ‘The Lily Pond’ by Armour Beardsley from Mortlake.
Emerging Artist Under 16 Years saw ‘Lion’ by Natasha Starick (aged 12) from Naringal East earn recognition.
The photography section saw ‘Meerkat’ by Gregory Wane from Camperdown emerge triumphant.
The Packer’s Choice Award was given to ‘Rock Band’ by Rod Cameron from Warrnambool.
The People’s Choice Award, for the piece voted the favourite among attendees, went to ‘Calm Before the Storm’ by Rod Cameron from Warrnambool.

Mortlake Art Show convenor Cassandra Ellis said all artists involved had made the event one to remember.
“We had 10 art works sold to the value of around $1700, excluding sales of bespoke merchandise which also were very popular,” she said.
“The Mortlake Men’s Shed exhibited their wood craft again this year and had a very successful show, having to replenish their supply of bird houses during the weekend.”
