Winter library fun
TIMBOON Library is the place to be this winter for the young and old alike.

TIMBOON Library is the place to be this winter for the young and old alike.
Timboon librarian Angela Beveridge said Corangamite Moyne Library Service has launched The Warm Winter Reads program which runs through until August 31.
The Warm Winter Read aims to:
• Encourage adult readers to create a reading habit over winter;
• Engage library communities in a shared reading campaign;
• Raise the profile of our library services in the library services communities; and
• Promote the benefits of reading for wellbeing to our communities.
“There are bookish prizes to be won and you can register on our webpage www.cmlibraries.com.au or at your local branch,” Ms Beveridge said.
As well as the Warm Winter Reads program locals are invited to attend a variety of sessions on offer.
“We have a non-hosted Babytime program that runs every Wednesday,” Ms Beveridge said.
“Designed to hold a space for either books and singing or just social time for mums dads and careers, there is afternoon tea provided and access to our Library resources.
“Mondays from 12.30pm we are running a Family Storytime that the Daycare also attend as well as members from the public.
“We are looking for Games lovers who are interested in playing cards or board games every Saturday from 10am-12 noon.”
