Works begin
WORKS have commenced on the Camperdown-Lismore Road in Kariah this week, with delays expected to continue until the end of October.
Repairs underway: Works have commenced this week to repair the Camperdown-Lismore Road.
Western District Newspapers reported earlier this month, a single-lane section of the Camperdown-Lismore Road was closed due to the poor condition of the road, with traffic controls in place.
Department of Transport and Planning executive director Barwon South West and Grampians Michael Bailey said the Camperdown-Lismore Road was part of the 23,000 kilometres of road network managed by the Department and is inspected regularly to ensure compliance with the Road Management Act.
“We’re completing repair works along Camperdown-Lismore Road at Kariah, which are expected to be completed by the end of the month,” he said.
“Our crews regularly inspect this road and perform any necessary repairs.”
