Wyles wins 10th award
CAMPEREDOWN Golf Magpies Bowling Club held its annual presentation day last Sunday.
CAMPEREDOWN Golf Magpies Bowling Club held its annual presentation day last Sunday.
A large crowd of members and families enjoyed the event, with presentations made throughout the afternoon.
The ladies champion, for the 10th time, was Rene Wyles while David Bateman was named men’s champion.
Other award winners were as follows:
Ladies’ B grade champion: Ro Dunstan.
Men’s B grade champion: John O’Donohue.
Ladies’ 100 up: Janet Molan and men’s 100 up: John Molan.
Ladies’ presidents’ handicap winner was Rene Wyles while Paul Richards was the men’s winner.
The mixed pairs was won by Ro Dunstan and Dan Stewart.
Ladies’ pairs champions were Noelene Tolland and Elaine Waterfall while the men’s pairs champions were Gary Body and Jack Paasse.
The best club person award went to Daryl O’Donohue.
The club’s annual meeting will be held at the golf club on Wednesday, May 10 from 7pm.
