Xmas cheer at Woolies
RESIDENTS doing their shopping at Woolworths Wednesday morning were treated to a special pop-up performance from a local music group.

The Camperdown Community House Choir set up out the front of Woolworths and performed a variety of Christmas carols between 11am and 12noon.
Choir member Eileen McKenzie said the group met every Wednesday at Community House to practice and “jam”, with carol performances part of their events calendar.
“We recently had sung at the Camperdown Carols by Candlelight, and our next performance is at the Anglican Church on December 22,” she said.
“We have an average of 12-14 come every week, and you don’t have to be able to sing or play an instrument – just come along, have a cuppa and bring your knitting along of you want to. It’s just a fun gathering.
“We get invited to sing at Lovely Banks in Cobden twice a year, and we also get invited to sing at David Newman Centre.”
