Bourke wins second club award
GUS Bourke has won his second Club Cricketer of the Year Award for the Noorat Terang Cricket Club.

Gus was presented with his award at the club’s annual presentation night last Thursday.
The all-rounder once again showed his wares for the Lions this season, making 193 runs and taking 26 wickets, which was the best total by a Lions bowler in the premier division one team, with his 5/21 against Mortlake his best figures.
In second place was Tim Delaney with 21 wickets ahead of Tyson Hay with 20.
The division one batting aggregate went to Liam Geary with 292 runs ahead of Bailey Kavenagh on 244 and Tyson Hay with 206.
Geary’s highest score of the season was 78.
Brett Hunger’s tremendous season saw him complete the trifecta of the division two awards.
In addition to winning the Cricketer of the Year, he won the batting aggregate with 235 runs from Dave Conheady on 198 and Dom Moloney with 194, while Hunger’s bowling saw him take 12 wickets, one ahead of Lachlan Primmer’s 11.
Hunger’s best score was 61 not out and best bowling was 3/16.
In division four, Dean Abbott made a clean sweep of the awards winning Cricketer of the Year and the batting aggregate with 320 runs, with Sam Munro coming in next with 172 runs, while with the ball Abbott took 23 wickets with his leg spin, with Tom Conheady second with 16.
Abbott’s best score was 82 while 4/18 was his best bowling.
Abbott was also presented with the club champion award for receiving the most points for runs, wickets, catches and run outs across all grades during the season.
Toby Roberts’ work around the club was acknowledged with the awarding of the Club Person of the Year award.
The only century of the season was achieved by Dave Conheady, who was presented with a framed scorecard of his 122 not out against Nestles at Noorat in round six of the division two competition.
Jesse Unthank received the mounted match ball of his six wicket haul in round 15 of the division four competition when he took 6/10 against the Northern Raiders at Purnim.
Milestone certificates were presented to Dom Kenna for his 200th game and Liam Geary for his 150th game.
At an association level, Ryan Mottram received a framed certificate acknowledging him being a member of the winning Melbourne Country Week team.
Dean Abbott fell just one vote behind the Warrnambool Moyne and District Cricket Association division four Cricketer of the Year winner.
