Historic: From later this month the Noorat Post Office will have officially been running from the same building for the past 125 years. Today the post office is a two-person operation under “casual extraordinaire” Carole Uebergang and manager Kerry Murphy, who believe the service remains just as vital to this day.

Celebrating 125 years

KNOWING how to deliver a letter addressed only to “Nanny and Pop” is all part of a day’s work at the Noorat Post Office – which later this month celebrates a 125-year milestone.
