Creek too strong for Power
IT was another tough day for Kolora-Noorat’s senior footballers, with the Power copping a 93 point loss in it’s round 12 match against Russells Creek.

Russells Creek started strongly and dominated throughout in its 22.14.146 to 8.5.53 win at the Noorat Recreation Reserve.
Caleb Kavenagh, Keilan Webster-Bamford and Justin Wallace were best for the Power in the loss.
Another tough game this week for Kolora-Noorat, with the Power travelling to Allansford to take on the second-placed Cats.
Russells Creek was also too strong in the reserves, scoring a 18.19.127 to 1.2 win.
Henry Kenna, Brad Lucas and Jack Carlin were Kolora-Noorat’s best, with Kenna kicking the lone goal.
The under 18 football ended in a 7.3.45 to 6.9.45 draw.
Riley Kelly, Max Kavenagh, Ted Kenna and Patrick Spokes were best for the Power, with Oscar Ritchie kicking three goals.
Russells Creek had a 17.10.112 to 3.3.21 win in the under 15 football.
Leo Beasley, Eli Chant and Crawford Dunn were the Power’s best.
Russells Creek was also too strong in the under 13 game, scoring a 10.4.74 to 0.1.1 win.
Hamish Messer, Damon Mason and Braydon Guy were the junior Power’s best.
The A grade netball saw Russells Creek register a 53-43 win.
“We made a slow start, Russells Creek are a strong team and put early pressure on us,” Power coach Lillie Bourke said of the first term where the visitors scored 16 goals to the Power’s nine.
“The game was pretty even after that.”
Best for Kolora-Noorat were teenagers Nellie Sadler and Rose Beasley.
“Nellie was fantastic for us with stints as goal keeper and goal defence, she’s really hitting her straps.
“Rose in the centre showed speed and composure against very tough opposition.”
Courtney Garner scored a match high 38 goals for Kolora-Noorat.
“Courtney moved well and shot well, she’s a very strong target.”
Bourke is looking forward to the challenge this week of playing second-placed Allansford.
“Allansford are always tough, we look forward to taking it up to them.”
Kolora-Noorat had a 24-21 win in the A reserve game.
Jessica Beasley, Taleah Murfett and Ruby Cain were best for Kolora-Noorat, with Grace Lee scoring 15 goals.
Russells Creek took out the B grade game with a 41-27 win.
Keely Vaughan, Linda Kenna and Abbey Carlin were best for the B grade Power, with Alexandra Smith scoring 16 goals.
Kolora-Noorat had a 41-34 win in the 17 and under game.
Ella Maher, Harriot Riches and Matilda Curran were best for the Power, with Curran scoring 21 goals and Riches 20.
Kolora-Noorat scored a 37-26 win in the 15 and under netball.
Nikaiah Murfett and Harriot Riches were best for the Power, with Zoe Roberts shooting 19 goals and Riches 18.
The 13 and under game saw Kolora-Noorat score a 43-25 win.
Skylar Coburn, Jade Byron and Remy Herry were the best for the Power, with Coburn scoring 22 goals and Quinn Thomas 21.
