“It was a massive effort, it’s a lot of goals,” Kolora-Noorat coach Lillie Bourke said.

“Tara was really strong under the ring, she just played really well.”

Bourke said the win would be a strong boost for her team.

“It will definitely give us confidence going into the next couple of games.

“It was just good to be able to execute everything that we’ve been working towards at training with all our systems, which was good.”

Hannah O’Connor and Molly Bourke were best for the Power in the win.

“Molly and Hannah, the turnovers that they got through mid-court and their feeding into the goals was exceptional.”

Goal defence Ailish Glennen was also named in the best for Kolora-Noorat.

“Ailish was great, she was up the whole day and just really made it hard work for the Dennington attackers to get the ball past her.”

This week the Power take on Russells Creek at Noorat.

“Creek are always competitive and they’ve picked up a few, so it’ll be really interesting to see how it all shapes up.”
