Lions reward junior cricketers
TALENTED cricketer Max Heffernan made it back-to-back champion player awards for the Noorat Terang Cricket Club in season 2025-26.

Heffernan was presented with his award at the club’s junior presentation evening last Thursday.
Capping off a successful season, he was also presented with the club’s under 17 batting average – with 358 runs at an average of 44.75.
Jack Farrell, with 15 wickets at 16.20, won the bowling award from Ollie Clarke and Lachlan Primmer.
Primmer won the coaches award.
In the under 15s, Ollie Clarke was the champion player and won the batting with 199 runs at an average of 24.90.
Lucia Clarke won the bowling award with seven wickets at an average of 16.3.
The fielding award went to Braxton Sachs.
The coaches award went to Harry Beaton and most improved to Paddy Meade.
In the under 13s, Braxton Sachs nearly made it a clean sweep of all the awards.
He was the champion player – winning the batting award with 131 runs an average of 65.5, as well as taking out the bowling and fielding trophies.
The bowling and fielding awards were also shared with Zac Clarke.
Most improved was Jackson Irving and the coaches award went to Archer Gleeson.
The senior presentation evening for the Noorat Terang senior cricketers will be held Thursday fortnight.
