Power get within a goal
KOLORA-Noorat’s senior footballers led for three quarters of the match at Dennington on Saturday before going down by less than a goal.

In a close battle in wintry conditions, Dennington took the win with a scoreline of 9.8.62 to 7.15.57.
An inaccurate final term, where the Power kicked one goal five behinds to the home team’s three goals one ultimately proved costly for the visitors.
Eitan Brooks and Josh Brown kicked two goals each for the Power, with Bailey Kavenagh, Daniel Carr and Jack Aitken named as best for the side.
Kolora-Noorat had a strong win in the reserves, 10.8.68 to 4.4.28.
Sam Hutchinson, Nathan Wyss and Tyler Barrett were the Power’s best, with Tyne Anderson kicking three goals and Riley Kelly, Paul McSween and Brad Holmes two each.
Kolora-Noorat had a 6.7.43 to 4.11.35 win in the under 18s.
Taj Podger, Xavier Riches and Riley Kelly were best for the Power, with Kelly the only multiple goalkicker with two.
The Power had a 6.8.44 to 5.9.39 win in the under 15 football.
Hugh Kenna, Archie Curran and George Sadler were best for the Power, with Kenna and Leo Beasley kicking two goals each.
Dennington was too strong in the under 13 game, scoring a 15.9.99 to 1.1.7 win.
Crawford Dunn kicked the lone goal for Kolora-Noorat, with Lexie Williams, Daniel Newton and Excel Karani the Power’s best.
In the A grade netball, Dennington registered a 45-38 win.
Courtney Garner and coach Lillie Bourke were best for the Power, with Garner scoring a match high 34 goals.
Kolora-Noorat had a 37-35 win in the A reserve game.
Grace Lee, Ruby Cain and Eliza Smith were best for Kolora-Noorat, Lee scoring 25 goals and Nicole O’Shannessy 12.
Dennington also took out the B grade game with a 29-23 win.
Alexis Ameduri and Chelsea Lucas scored 11 goals each for the Power, while best players were Grace Roberts and Layla Gleeson.
Kolora-Noorat had a 44-32 win in the 17 and under game.
Amarli Lawlor, Harriot Riches and Isla Nolan were best for the Power, with Riches and Nolan putting through 22 goals each.
Kolora-Noorat scored a 31-21 win in the 15 and under netball.
Nikaiah Murfett and Isla Spokes were the Power’s best, with Harriot Riches scoring 15 goals and Zoe Roberts 11.
The 13 and under game finished as a 15 all draw.
Quinn Thomas, Jade Byron and Syriah Guy were best for the Power, with Ruby Williams scoring 10 goals.
