Winning streak ends for Power
KOLORA Noorat’s long run of wins over Timboon at their Noorat home has ended after a 10.9.69 to 6.9.45 loss on Saturday.

Timboon last tasted senior football success at the Noorat Recreation Reserve way back in 2007.
The Power got off to a strong start on Saturday, leading by 19 points at quarter time, but could only manage two goals in the remainder of the match as the Demons took hold.
Keilan Webster-Bamford, Caleb Kavenagh and Oscar Curran were best for Kolora Noorat, with the Power having six individual goal kickers.
Now sitting four points out of the top five, Kolora Noorat will face Panmure at Panmure this weekend.
In the reserves, Timboon also got the points with a 5.7.37 to 3.5.23 win.
Neil Kelly kicked two for the Power, with Daniel Carr, Mitchell Wyss and Jacob Kenna named as best.
Kolora Noorat had a four-point win in the under 18s, 3.6.24 to 2.8.20.
Levi Cootesmith, Ben Carlin, Xavier Riches, Patrick Spokes and Taj Podger were best for the Power.
Jack Smerdon, Sonny Podger and Damon Anders each kicked a goal.
It was also close in the under 15s, with Timboon having a narrow 4.6.30 to 4.4.28 win.
Leo Beasley kicked two goals for Kolora Noorat while Archie Curran, Archie McDonald and Billy Schrama were named in the Power’s best.
The under 13 game was one sided, with Timboon winning 13.15.93 to no score.
Best for the Power were Crawford Dunn, Jack Menz and Muhammed Arslan.
Kolora Noorat’s A grade netballers scored a 45-42 win, their third win of 2025.
Courtney Garner led the scorers with 25 goals, while coach Lillie Bourke scored 13 goals.
Renae Reynolds, Nellie Sadler and Kate Jubb were best for the Power in the win.
Kolora Noorat also got the points in A reserve match, 43-38.
Grace Lee, playing her 100th club game for the Power, led the scoring for the Power with 17 goals, while Hayley Collins contributed 16.
Ruby Cain and Hayley Collins were named as best in the A reserve Power win.
In B grade netball, Timboon won 38-25.
Alexandra Smith scored 19 of the Powers’ goals, with Layla Gleeson and Rebecca Williams named as best.
Timboon had a strong 48-27 win in the 17 and under netball.
Mayci Dwyer and Matilda Curran were best for the Power, with Curran and Isla Nolan leading the goal scorers with 15 goals and 10 goals respectively.
Kolora Noorat won the 15 and under game 30-29, Harriot Riches scoring 21 goals and Zoe Roberts 9.
Ivy Kenna, Alexis Maher and Isla Spokes were best in the win.
Timboon was too good in the 13 and under netball, winning 31-16.
Skyla Coburn scored seven goals for the Power, with Jade Byron, Skyla Coburn and Remy Herry named as best.
